Edipsos
Edipsos has over 80 thermal springs, with temperatures ranging from 28˚C - 86˚C. So it’s not by accident that it’s probably the most famous spa town in Greece as it has been since ancient times. Amongst other Edipsos was visited by the Romas General Silas (who had a crippling foot disease), as reported by Ploutarxos. Today Edipsos has several hydrotherapy centres inside and outside of hotels that have pools and spas.The largest and best organized in the EOT and the private Silla Spa. The healing centre of EOT is one of the biggest and most modern in the country. It contains normal spas, special healing spas, spas for limbs, Scottish showers, an outdoor pool, physical therapy unit with gym equipment and electrotherapy etc. |
